When Lunii is the better choice
If you want no Wi-Fi at all in the bedroom, Lunii wins: it plays offline. If your child loves hearing the same story again and again, recorded audio with professional voices is hard to beat. We would rather tell you that than lose your trust.
When Ted makes more sense
- Your child wants to take part. With Ted, they are not choosing from a menu. They say "the hero is a snail who is afraid of rain" and the story starts there.
- The questions never stop. Why is the sky dark? Where do snails sleep? Ted answers at their level, within the limits you set.
- You speak more than one language at home. Ted speaks over 60. You switch the language in the parent app, so tonight can be in French and tomorrow in Spanish.
- You are tired of buying content. Ted has no story packs and no subscription.
What parents control

Can Ted replace Lunii?
They do different things. Lunii plays finished stories; Ted creates them with your child. Some families keep both: Lunii for a favourite story, Ted for a new one.
Is Ted suitable for a 3 year old?
Yes, Ted is designed from age 3. In push to talk mode, the youngest children decide exactly when Ted listens.
Does Ted work without Wi-Fi?
No. Ted needs Wi-Fi to understand your child and reply.
